Dana 44 front rotors/hubs

How do I get the friggin studs out???

There's a nut on the back side but no socket will fit it.

we tried a press, BFHammer and really bad words with no luck

looks like you need a thinwall 11/16 or 3/4 socket, most places wont have a thinwall but a 12pt chrome might work on it... ive never had one apart but thats what it looks like to me...

Do the threads go all the way through? If so, that is a first I have ever seen. I just did this an a very old D44. They were rusted in good. I ended up clamping a chunk of brass round stock in some vice grips and had a buddy swing a sledge hammer to pop them out.

You mean the studs holding the rotor onto the hubs? If so, lay the rotor on the floor flat, back side down. Take a big hammer and hit the top on the stud hard, don't slip, and make sure to do it with one hit. Thats how I always do it, and if you are sure to hit to square you won't hit the threads. If so you can use the studs over again

the studs went all the way through and had a nut on the inside ended up using a air chisel to remove the nut and a BH to pound the stud out
