It has been a while since I had a thread on here. Been without a blazer for quite some time now, but I've started gathering parts and working on some random stuff.

Cleaned up a 465/208 combo with a DIY4x clocking ring, clocked up, along with a short shifter and a hand throttle mounted on some shift knobs I made. Also made a support rod for the t-case.

I got a 14 bolt and started working on it:

Put some dimples in some rotors for the discs for the 14 bolt.

very nice attention to detail.. it all looks awesome... I love Parkers filter stuff, i must install 1000 Racor elements, etc a year... :haha:

Forgot about these. A 205 clocking up ring and a 205 clocking down ring. I messed up and made a down ring, figured out I screwed up and then made the right one. The up ring is for clarkjw24. I put the logo of his favorite beverage on there for him.

... Also made a support rod for the t-case.

Now that ROCKS! That's so simple I can't believe they're not more common. That would be great for non OE combos (doublers, 700/205, etc). Somebody needs to market these. :wink1:

Thanks. I try. Someday I'll put it all together and see if it works. ;)

Thanks, but no. My buddy John helped me out a bunch over the past however long I have known him. He asked if I could help him out, so I did the best I could. I don't think he has tried it under a truck yet, so I don't even know it works. He did bolt it up to a t-case so it's at least good enough for that.

The CNC mill that I have access to is not set up for production, and gets used for other things. I usually only get to use it between jobs or during some downtime. But I will share my DXF file for it if anybody is interested. Either up or down ring.

would love to clock up my 205! great work

I think D&D machine makes some and from time to time they pop up on ebay. Although I haven't seen them listed for a long time. Mine was considerably cheaper than theirs. Didn't come with hardware either.

Did you use tube or bar for that support rod? I Just got a 465/208 and like the looks of that.

I need a valid email address to send you the files. The one that CK5 gives me doesn't work. It will be a little bit before I can get the files from the mill into DXF form. I forgot that the mill doesn't output DXF. Maybe next week.

I'll be installing the ring and my 1410 NP205 soon. I'll be sure to post up a picture of how it works. Guys Ryan has some mad fab skills, he just needs a truck to put it all on.:doah::D

Thanks for the props John.

I could start machining some bedsides for you if you want. :wink1:

Its all looking great Ryan....I would so love to have a machine shop I could experiment in.....cool stuff.
