Not a diesel guy so bear with me here. Ok I need to find a 4-6 cyl diesel that would fit in my Heep. I was wander if any of you here would have an idea of donor vehicle I would be looking for. Thank for any info also what are some other good diesel sites.

IIRC, Jeep offered a 4cyl diesel option in the late '60s. Seen a '67ish CJ-6 with on for sale once. 4 cyl perkins maybe?

I've never had any personal experience with them but I've heard not so good things about older jeeps (poor transmission / unreliable / frequent roolovers / etc.
Like I said, I've never had any trouble with them, but if it were me I'd look to the early nineties jeeps.
