Stupid kids whose parents buy em anything!

i hear ya. i go to an expensive private school. my parents feel investing in my education is a good idea and i agree, i will be doing the same thing for my kids, but as for cars, that one is on me. I have now owned 2 k5's, a rusty 76 and my new bitchin 85 (see sig) both on my own buck. lots of the kids at my school drive lexas and bmw's and lotsa new volvo's ect. even a few mercedes, but i feel good knowing that every cent payed for my gas, truck repairs, insurance, and anything else comes out of my pocket. im looking forward to the day i get my degree in engineering from somewhere and can laugh at those F&*kers for what kidna ****holes they dug themselves into.

Just off the top of my head, at my school, we have a 99-02 Silverado w/ 6" Lift and Nitto Mud Grapplers, an 05 GMC Sierra... those are the most expensive trucks at my school besides a BMW 3 Series, Mustang V6's (and 1 GT) a Firebird Formula and a Cuda with a 340.. Anyways, I bought my 1st car, (a 94 Thunderbird) and now I got this K5, which I've spent about a thousand in repairs...

Yeah there is plenty of that crap going on around my place also I bought my heap for $350 and have put some money into but I pay for everything just like everybody else on this forum it seems like I got a jeep but I cant afford to drive it paid 2000 and have put nearly that again back into and now it has a cracked headgasket I know how ya feel.

We got alot of posers at our school (a couple lifted 01 chevy 1500 two wheel drives with 4x4 stickers on them) a 02 1500 lifted completly Bas A** but it was bought and it seems everyone in my freakin town has a car bought by ma and pa and as a matter of fact there is a kid that goes to my school that drove a 00 Carmaro and beat the livin piss out of it. His grandfather loaned it to him on a semi permantant basis (put the title in his name) after losing his licence for multiple speeding tickets and other moving violations just sighned the title over to another idiot and gave away his grandfathers car for ZERO $$$$$ Nothing Nada Free

Well now im done bitc**** Sorry for the long post it just really irriatates me.

Oh my...................................

At my school they post this crap in the lounge. The lounge. Like chit chat with no tech or questions.

And Oh my..........................

Yeah speechless that is exactly my point I never thought I would see somthing as extreme as that and the funny part is that his grandpa still dosent know.

When I was in highschool and college(im 22 now). You wouldnt beleive the amount of people that spoke poorly of my K10. Especially when I had it tore clear apart to paint it. It got done with that and I ran it for awhile then it died again.(currently building it back up)

But I have been told so many times. Just go buy a new truck. 9 times out of 10 it was from a kid whose parents bought him the Z71 with dualed out exhaust fancy times and Quote "MUDDERS" mudders which were 265 BFG A/Ts lol

Kid in college referred to those Tires as mudders so many times it wasnt even funny. Yet he wouldnt ever go out muddin with us guys cuz he didnt wanna get dirty or get it stuck. Meanwhile Im out romping in my S10 blazer in mud hole, lol

My mom is constantly ragging on me to go buy a new truck. I just brush her off and tell her mine are paid for and taxes are cheaper on them, too.

Somehow I think that you missed the point.
That's got to be the funniest thing I've seen this morning. It would seem that the average size of generation gap is getting narrower by the minute.

might get you bent now but wait till its your turn to sell some thing to one of those kids:D $$$$$$$$$$:p:

always look at the positive:wink1:

The point being,...three paragraphs and two periods.

WOW. I think all the short hand code these kids use to IM each other during class has fowled their punctuation generators.

Am I in the garage???...What the -----...

i'm not surprised that there are young people on here, but how young is a bit unexpected.

let me be the mediator between the "pants at the knees" group and the "pants up to the armpits" crew. i wear mine at my waist. shorthand is good, but knowing how to do stuff right is important, too. you'll notice, i'm not a fan of capitalization, in informal situations, like forums. as age applies to the original post, i'm young enough to remember the anger-driven thinking of youth, but old enough to have gained some wisdom and perspective. i didn't waste my time hating people for having something they didn't deserve. i was more concerned with people who didn't have stuff they DID deserve. help the guy/girl with a beater car keep it running. help the nerd get a date with a hot chick. i know, big girls need lovin' too, but not from me or my proteges :wink1:.

i've seen so many of these people who "had it all" during highschool and college crash as soon as a real-life issue comes along. takes 5-10 years, but they learn that being on top means something totally different in the real world.

I'm still in highschool and I drive the biggest pos in the parkinglot. Sure some people talk down to me for it, but I dont tend to let that get the best of me. Alot of those guys that their parents or whoever buys them nice vehicles, have no idea what is happening when something goes wrong with it. There was a guy at my school that had a landcruiser with an ls1 and one day he put it in park and it sheared the pin that held the shifter linkage on. Sure his daddy bought him the truck, engine, lift, tires, etc. but i still fixed it for him.

What im trying to say is you can't really hate someone for having nicer things than you. Even if they are undeserving. You work for what you have and know that later on you will be better off because of that.
There will always be people like this. Getting all pissed off about them isn't going to help anything.;)

I'm not pissed and my K10 > his K10. Just annoyed that people assume they know better when they don't, and then mock me for telling him correct information.

In time you will learn not to let people like that get under your skin. I am only 22, what do I know, right? Just remember that however new, shiny, lifted, tinted, stereo'd, and just plain pimped out your (whatever) is, there is another one somewhere not too far away that is newer, shinier, higher up, darker tint, louder speakers, and just all around cooler than yours.

You need to take pride in what you've accomplished and not worry about everyone else.
