stupid question #1

If you order a lift for the K5 you will get ubolts for the 1/2 axles. (I found this out the hard way.) Make sure they know if is for a K5 but you have a 14 bolt in the rear. They should include the correct ubolts.

Suburbans and trucks use the same 14FF, just order a lift for a 3/4ton burb or truck. They all use the same length front springs.

You don't have to. Look at the attachments to the frame. If there are rivets it's stock. Any change of the length they will have been replaced by bolts. Then it's the measurement from center to center of the spring eyes.

bds makes good stuff. i had bds rear spings and still have bds fronts. very happy with them.

they arnt stock mounts in the rear cuz most of the frame is still the 58 we cut off the front clip of a k5 and welded it to the front of the 58 frame. that way we retained the body mounts etc. we jost bolted rear mounts to the frame. so i measure straight accross from eye to eye? what is stock spring length?
