I know this is a stupid question but when your driveshaft is at too steep of an angle why can't you just rotate the axle up so the driveshaft has the same angle as the pinion?

front axle causes your caster angle to go all wack. Then you can cut and rotate the knuckles and such. Now you have to address your spring perches unless your linked.
Rear axle you can rotate. At some point you have to consider oiling issues to the pinion bearings. Usually fixed with over filling the diff.
