ok so i go to pull the light switch out of the blazer, and i cant figure out how to get the knob of it to take it off, lol and i didnt wanna break it so..how do ya get that bugger off? lol

I'm guessing you're talking headlight switch? Most simply have a small spring-loaded button on the top (or bottom, can't remember /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif), depress the button & pull the knob/stem assy. straight out.

its kind of on the back of the knob, it goes aound the rod its connected to the best tool is an L shaped pickdepress the tang on the back side of the button and pull on the knob , wallah /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif /forums/images/graemlins/weld.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grind.gif

If the location isn't clear from the other posts, this "button" is behind the dash...just reach up from undeerneath and feel around the switch assembly...you'll feel a little button sticking up that you can depress a little bit. Either the knob is all the way in or all the way out to remove it, I don't think it will release if the knob is in or out, (one of the two) just can't remember which.
