I've got an '88 Olds Cutlass Supreme, 307 4bbl Quadrajunker... my friend is willing to donate the throttle body setup, intake and heads off his '88 1500. Could I bolt these up to the 88 Olds Gutless Cutless 307 ?

THe carb heads are different than the TBI heads. THe two center intake bolts on both sides are at a different angle on the TBI intake.

307 Olds, not 307 Chevy. two totally different animals. using a 454 TBI adapter (QJet to TBI) i dont see why it wouldnt work.

ahhh....I didn't read this too well....just saw TBI!

Basically you don't need the heads and intake. Just like Beater said, use a quadrajet to TBI adapter and it should work okay. Is the stuff from the truck off a 305 or 350? Hopefully it's off the 305.

Thanks for the responses !!
It is an Olds 307, 70k original miles.. The TBI stuff is coming from a blown up 305, GMC. I am happy with the TBI in my '89 350, and am even happier I can get that same EFI unit onto the 307...

Unless the carb is bad, not sure why you'd even bother. That Q-jet is as close to TBI as you can get, and will still flow 800CFM.

I certainly wouldn't spend the time...the timing is going to be all wrong for that motor, and the knock sensor isn't going to be right either.

Should be doable, many people have come up with ideas to make it all work, an '88 I believe at least HAS a knock sensor, earlier olds didn't. (but Chev did since 1981)
