Stupid turn signal

My '74 Jimmy's rear passenger side turn signal will not work. I swapped out the bulb and housing and it will not come blink though it will come on for when the headlights are on. All other blinkers are fine (front, side, and rear driver side). I am sure that I am overlooking something obvious but I am getting nowhere so, once again, I throw myself to the mercy of the K5 community.

are you sure its the correct bulb? iirc the taillight and turn light uses seperate filaments...dual filament bulbs.....1157, i think they are....turnsignal uses the brakelight filiment....i may be wrong tho, so don't hold me 2 it
