Sub to Crew Cab

I was kicking around some ideas for my 87 suburban and I wanted to hear y'all think. I've seen some of the blazers w/pickup cabs and was thinking a crew cab on my sub frame might be cool. Has anyone done this? If so I'd like to see some pics. If not what do you think.

chop off the back so you can run a k5 top. you would need a donor k5 for it though. 4-door removable top.

I've concidered that. Anyone know the measurement from door to rear of a K5 so I can compare it to the sub?

Has anyone on here ever chopped the back off a 'burb and used a Blazer top? I think I'd like to see some pictures of that. If not I can Photoshop it...

Nevermind, I just copied them here. I believe I have seen a blue one from the 89-91 style done also. You could be like my cousin and just sut the top off and leave it that way. Of course it is used for a duck hunting rig.

Thats easy to do. Before I lost my last Job I had my girl (now ex) sold on her needing a "half top " k5. Then job was lost. While unemployed, She "let" me buy a 89 chev panel van, to made into a reto-party-waggon. But sold it for a bottle of Vodka.
