Didn't even think about being able to flip around like he did @30 seconds, kinda cool actually.

That looks really unsafe at any speed. The roof isn't exactly the strongest part of the vehicle, and there is no way that wouldn't damage the roof going over even slightly uneven terrain. As for turning around and pushing the trailer backwards, you wouldn't be able to see anything! The trailer is wider than the Sub and turned around like that, with your mirrors facing the back of your vehicle, is going to make it impossible to see anything except the underside of the trailer. Seems like a bad idea, which is probably why we don't see any these days, even with the popularity of full size SUV's.

From a fabricators point of view. A lot of work went into that. Not only the mount, but the 5th wheel was majorly altered. Impressive work.

Too much work just because you are too lazy to learn to back a trailer.

That is the damnest thing I've ever saw. Cool idea actually, but wonder how the Sub roof can handle that??

Lots and lots of mods.

I am more interested in seeing how the mods where done to make the 5th wheel attach to the roof.

I think its pretty cool

Actually if it wasn't done, a cage should e art of the mods.
It's aninteresting concept, although I agree with Jason that visibility with the trailer in front is not good.

It looked to me like it was a unique setup, it appeared to be a large plate structure that the trailer slides into. Not a pin style like a normal 5th wheel. It would be interesting to see it up close.

Wow. That is a very interesting setup. But, like a lot of others, the roof strength has me questioning the feasibility of this for real world use.
