Suburban/Blazer owners

What have you installed in place of your internal spare tire? I pulled the spare out and am going to be building a sleeping platform. I thinking of installing either a battery/inverter or some kind of fresh water tank. My suburban is a expedition type build. And pics would be great.

Mine are a catch-all for random tools/parts/etc.

I had an air tank in mine a long time ago.

Keep in mind the K5 did not have a well for a spare tire like the Suburban did. It had a tube steel gizmo that held the spare tire on the floor along side the wheel well (i.e. killing 1/3 of the cargo area).

I got one of those big soft sided bags with handles from Ikea and loaded it up with all the misc stuff I like to carry with me. Being soft sided it conforms nicely to the well and the top handles make it easy to pull out and root through when I need something( which is always on the bottom).

That's not a spare tire well it's a wormdrive Skilsaw,grinder,sawzall,work halogens and extension cords well
