I am moving forward on the parts list for the body repair. Living here in the midwest, the rear of the truck has fallen away, luckily I have a minor leak coming from the transfer case that coats the body, but from the rear of the doors to the rear bumper every crossmember will need to be replaced. More directly, the crossmember just behind the rear doors, and the very rear crossmember (next to the bumper, under the barn doors) are they the same part number? Nobody sells the front xmbr, just the rear one, and it depends upon the type of rear door. My thought is that if I buy the correct one for my barn doors, then I could replicate the xmbr that is behind the doors. Anybody ever get this deep into rust repair???????

Both of them measure the same or at least within a 1/16" so that's close enough for me, I'm pretty sure that I'll have to outfit each one for the body bolts, but other then that are they the same?

What says the tribe???????
