Suburban Cages ??? Pics ??

Burbs don't need no stinking cages! There's ribs about every 12-16 inches down the whole length of the roof. Thats a lot of the reason old burbs doors always close. I've seen pics of a burb rolled down a mountaiside, dude walked away with scratches (branches & rocks in the windows).

here are some burb cage pics I may use
Did you strip your headliner yet?
Another way to reinforce the existing roof would be to use sheet at the corners and maybe a little more structure at the posts. Sheet would be less of an impact to the head and shoulder space, lighter too.
If you're gonna weld a cage in there, I'd recommend wearing oxygen.:eek1:

I don't remember where I got it :doah:
One of the mag's covered that ORU build-up. Lots of money & time went into it, and they still made some very basic errors in some of the lay-out if it was to be the 4 or 5 seat pre-runner they claimed it was to be. I don't recall the details, I just remember looking at the pics and thinking "WTF did they put that there? Most all Dez race types know those need to go (X)".

Might root around Trackside photo's page and see if you can find pics of Mark Harbor's blue '68-ish Sub racing in the Mojave Desert Racing series. Would be 3-5 years ago now.

my interior is striped already. I want to put a cage in it when I cut half the top off :ignore: Ill get some pics of what it looks like without a headliner :waytogo:
