suburban camo interior

she might just do it if there was enough intrest to warrant making several at once

Well I would be interested in having my doors done like yours. So maybe if there are enough people like me and interested and she is interested and has the time, let me know.

ok, I will see if this thread generates any intrest, I don't want to break any vendor rules though. this site is a great resource and I don't want to start pizin in the moderators collective coffee.

What material was used on the door panels? I have similar seat covers and have been looking for material to match for a similar idea.

I believe that my wife got the fabric at hancock fabric. It is mossy oak break up. which should be the same as the seat covers they sell.

Hey, 1BURBAN, where are you in Memphis? I'm in Southaven. I just bought a camo '75 Suburban, but it doesn't have any interior panels to camo.

They have that same fabric at Wally World. I did the same thing to my door panels and will do the headliner, sides and whatever else needs to get done.

I am in the university of memphis area. pm me if you want to get together to wrench or wheel

Thanks, yes they are the sliding windows you get from LMC they are cheaply made and leak. If I had it to do over agian I would have welded a piece of steel in the hole.

Thank you very much for feedback. I'm canceling the order my gf made for those windows... I just took the whole interior apart to fix all leaks... don't want a new one. Bummer, 'cause I really want sliding windows.

I'm now considering a large sunroof out of a mercedes that I might be able to get for a song...

not trying to bum you out agiain but nothing has leak potential like a sunroof with the exception of maybe t-tops. I would proceed with caution.

Understood and makes perfect sense. The feedback I have is that OEM sunroofs (especially high end) are the only way to go.

Not aftermarket or cheap.

I can get a free Mercedes sunroof that has a built in system to redirect the puddled water through a downtube. I think it could be ok. But tons of work.
