Hi, wondering if anyone has ever cut a square body Suburban behind the second row seats and grafted on a regular cab back section with the window? My Suburban is badly rusted in both rear corners, was thinking about making it into a crew cab with a flat bed.

I've seen one up here for sale. It was done somewhat decent but still not quite right to me. Why not short bed a crew cab?

I'm in New Zealand, not a lot of square body vehicles here to play with. I have managed to find a guy willing to sell me the back part of a regular cab truck though.

Ah okay I bet it is tougher there for squares.

@83ChevyK5Blazer thats right. Suburban body cut down sittings on a crewcab frame.

Havent touched in last couple months, just been cold snowy and miserable. Hoping to start making some meaningful progress as it starts to warm up. I dont have a workshop, so everything is done weather dependent.

With power mirrors no less. Once upon a time, that was a loaded Blazer.
