There is a guy parting one out near me that is willing to sell a 14BFF 4.10 gears with disc conversion (with an alleged locker) to me for $200.

I have found little to no information about the running gear this truck may have come with and want to make sure Im not getting something that wont work with my burb. Here are the details...how can I know if this was stock? Doubtfully so, if it had a disc brake conversion right?

Its currently under a 1989 Suburban (starcraft conversion), and will be going under my 1989 Suburban. I guess Im just worried it might be something whacked out when I see it, should I get him to measure the width? Ideas?

get it

if it has what it says-even if you cant use it yourself, someone wll pay you atleast 350 -400 -if you dont have to ship or anything like that
