The yards around here want way too much for a couple of doors and some glass. Anyone have a whole Suburban they need out of their driveway? Something that would be pefect to part out?

I tried to get you to stop by my place. You got anything left that could make a road trip and haul some doors and glass back?

I have kicked my self for than decision. We should have hung around, but the prospect of a 15 hour drive with flapping plastic put us on the road 1st thing.

Yes you would have had an 1 1/2 hr ride with the flapping to my place. There we could have installed one fresh powered door with window and mirror.

Well, if you don't find anything soon and can find a way to get this stuff its yours.

We had that discussion about 8 hours into the drive. It was determined (over the loud plastic) that we may, just may have gotten in too big a hurry. Funny how clear it is now. :doah: :D

I need a drivers door and glass and the rear side glass. I may have found them locally and should know this weekend. I'll post up when I am sure. Thanks.

hey cbbr, I go to my dads now and then Ponchatoula, so I may be able to bring down a door or two for you if you need. btw i'm still interested in your steps if you have them, just didnt' get to drive my truck down a few weeks ago like I was planning.

I've still got the steps and you have dibs on them. As far as a door, I appreciate it and will let you know after the weekend. I think that I found one here that will work. Thanks, and let me know when you will be around.

CBBR, I have a brand new door, never installed if you want it. I also have the glass and regulator ect out of another door that has some rust. They are yours if you want them... you just have to come get them,
gabe

I have an 88 burban carcass that is in pristine shape. I have not found any rust on it at all and it was a 3/4 ton 4x4. It was a silverado with a clean interior and power everything. It has the doors and all glass, but most of all the usable parts have been stripped off. Its yours for free if you come get it, located in Kingsville, TX. I could scrap it but I'd rather such a nice body and frame go to a good home.
