what does a 91 3/4 ton 4 burban weigh ???
trying to find a bolt on tow bar to drag it to kansas from maryland
and i cant read the #s on my sticker to faded:confused:

The sticker won't give you curb weight, anyway. It will only give you GVWR, which is the weight rating of the vehicle (curb weight plus max cargo).

If I had to venture a guess, I'd say around 5,000-5,500 for a stock 'Burb. If it's not stock, then you're gonna hafta get it weighed. Most truck stops will weight it for under $10. Sometimes less if you don't want an actual printout.

You might want to reconsider flat towing something that heavy. Most states require trailer brakes for over 3500 lbs, and in this case the 'burb would be considered a trailer. I'd look at using a dolly with brakes or a car trailer...

I flat towed a somewhat stripped '82 Blazer from TX to BC (2500 miles) behind my '81 Jimmy about 5 years ago. I had to run it through scales after crossing into Canada and it came in at 3370 lbs as it was. Even being that light it did a fine job pushing the back of my truck around through corners and stuff. On wet pavement I almost wrecked on a freeway on-ramp once.

What were you planning on towing it with?

He doesn't want the GVWR, he wants the curb weight.
