Suburban / K5 Jimmy Parts Interchangeability question...
I have a 74 K5 Jimmy that is flat out done! I was given a 1985 Burb today that runs really well and has had the engine recently rebuilt. For some unknown reason it wont pass smog. But this thing is a strong runner. I was wondering if there was anything mechanically that couldn't be over swapped to the Jimmy? The drive shaft is the only thing I could think of. Im not sure which T Case or Tranny are in the Burb but seems the mounts should be interchangeable? aren't the burbs the same all the way through at least 89?
