Hi all, I searched but I couldn't find an answer to my question(probably more because of my lack of computer skills than a lack of an answer). I need the passenger side door glass for my 1990 suburban with the dark factory tint and I'm not sure where to get it. I saw LMC has it but I was wondering what other options I had. Cost really isn't that important because I won't be paying for it. I went wheeling with a group of guys today and one of them had the bright idea to throw rocks at my truck, so he's paying for the new glass. Thanks for your help.

o man, id be pissed, he'd be getting a fist in his face on top of the window bill if that was me. but, have u tried any junkyards?

He may end up with a fist in his face later tonight. I haven't checked the junkyards yet, but I'm definitely going to. Thanks.

I'm going to be taking the glass out of my truck and it has the dark factory tinting. I don't know about shipping though.

I think I may even have one sitting around already

I work for an auto glass company, heres the number for one of our shops in El Paso, (915)599-3400. Let them know what you need and most of the time we can have it in a day or two.

I see somebody's posted up a local place, but let your fingers do the walking for "auto glass" ... last time I had a window busted, I called four places, and three of the four referred me to the fourth. :dunno: Guess who got my business? =)) Anyway, they had the new one in maybe two days and installed for me, easy as pie.

Installing glass is supposed to be a pain, so you may not want to DIY. Out here the Pick-N-Pulls actually partner with a glass installer, so you bring your vehicle and pay the guy, and HE pulls and installs for you on the spot.

Thanks guys for all your help! I've got some phone calls to make and some driving to do this week now. Thanks again!

Just to update everyone, I scored a window from my friend's junkyard for $25 and put it in this afternoon in about an hour. Thanks again for all the help.
