i just bought a bunch of body parts from lmc and i finally started to tear the burb apart. im at the point where i wanna get the tail pan in place but it just doesnt want to fit. i took out the entire rear floor and all the body mount bolts and use a fork lift to raise the body then i could kinda get it in place but the bolt hole are like at least an in off and it just isnt lining up at all. any suggestions or any input at all would be helpfull.

here are some pics. i think im just going get the two bolt holes on the outside to line up then bolt the tail pan in place then cut out all the rot/tailpan mounting stuff in the corners. one its all cut out and i know the tail pan is pretty square with the rest of the truck im going to fab up some new corners then just weld them in place and the bolt the tailpan up. does this make any sense.

ahhhhh I see what yer' talking about now.

That's just shipping/manufacturing stuff. You have to bend it when you get it. Pretty standard to have replacement body parts like THAT need a little tweaking here and there. Finesse that sucker into place and weld 'er up.

Makes me glad I live out west. :D I remember rust like that..
