I think it is a mid 80's suburban,
will the springs swap to a 85 Standard Cap Short bed pick-up?

Me and my buddy have a chance to get this Sub for cheap, and it has 383(needs work, might be no good)/T400/Atlas/D60/14BFF, 10in. suspension lift and 3in. body

the truck body is junk, rusted and busted, we are planning to yank everything and scraping the rest

please respond ASAP, need to know real, real soon, tonight, tommorrow morning at the latest

a 1/2 ton will have 52", a 3/4 ton can have either, and 1 ton will have 56"

measure from eye to eye straigt and it will be closer to one than the other.

Gm only used two lenghts on these trucks, 52" and 56". if is a long bed, they have the holes for the 56" springs, they use the same hanger /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
