alright, so along with the air brakes idea, I thought about cutting a suburban right ahead of the tailgate area, and adding the end of another one, cut from the front. essentially taking the backend of the suburban off right at the tailgate, and adding it to another suburban, cut right at the windsheild, or right behind the front doors.... to make a long suburban.... has anyone heard of this actually happening?

Yes, aftermarket companies made/make them for airport limosines.
