Suburban wannabe

those are actually nice i was looking into a couple they come 3/4 ton and the top is removable factory like a bronco wish chevy would have done that.

I was gonna say.. it looks exactly like what some folks have done here, except it looks "factory".

My guess is it's a combination of an F350 crew cab and a Bronco.. I haven't done much reading, but the one I saw in person was bad ass. I'd run it.

Centurion conversions and yes it is a f350 grafted to a bronco

they were sold new in 1/2 and 1 ton versions from the mid eightes to early 90's there are some rare ones with 7.3 strokes

pretty much kicks a suburban in the nuts- Big block,One ton, and a removable rear roof

It's too bad Chevrolet never did that with the Suburban. I like those things.

Yeah...but did you ever see the price they wanted for them?:eek1:

Years ago there was a guy with one on a forum I read and he had the original sales sticker. I forget the exact numbers but the new sticker cost of his Centurion was over $10k more than a similar year 3/4 ton Suburban.

It's a F350 crew cab with a bunch of custom body work to mate the rear section of a Bronco to the cab of the F350.

I'd have just bought a 3/4 ton Suburban and swapped in a D60.

It pretty much is a suburban. Just 1 ton with a big block.

Yeah, a One Ton, 4x4 big block, removeable roof, version . . . . . .

So like I said, it's too bad Chevrolet never built a Suburban like that.
