Successful Deer Season

So got back from deer hunting in Eastern Oklahoma and had a great trip. Got the biggest buck I have ever taken in the 9 years I have been hunting. Buck is a 9 point and dressed out at 140lbs. Not a Kansas or Iowa sized buck but big for the surrounding counties near Cookson, OK. Also, a shot of the deer camp my FIL has: 1000 acres and three hunters with no chance of anyone trespassing. The weather was a bit warm but I wont complain. Just waiting about 4 weeks for the venison and 5 months for the mount. Hope you like. Some of the pics are a little blurry.

Check out the size of the swollen neck. This focker was ruttin' hard when I killed him.

Pic of deer camp also. Very remote and away from everyone. Killer set up my FIL has and has been there for the last 35 years on the same lease.

The buck on the woodpile looks nice too. I hear the venison back there tastes better. One of these days I will get back to the midwest and get a White Tail.

Nice critters. That camp looks a lot like the lease we had when I was a kid. We had some good times.

Nice deer BTW. Looks like the other was pretty nice and also the ones on the posts of the carport type thing. They have any problems with black tongue or w/e it is down there? It hit HARD here.

Sure there are people here that don't like that sort of thing and yes people bitch about not having the proper forum then don't post in it.
This is all fine with me, if anything there is abit of jealousy but thats it..Those are damn nice bucks and I'd be happy to have harvested either one instead of botching my chance at the last one I had a shot at.

You might be right about the forum selection but I posted here because as some of you stated not many people look at those forums and well, quite frankly, I'm bragging about the biggest deer I've ever taken. And I'm a pic slut. Thanks for the props on the deer to fellas. It was a hell of a time.
