My 6.2 suddenly decided not to start, luckily in my driveway.

Ran & started perfectly since new GP's about a month & 1/2 ago. Than today - cranks fine but no start.

GP' cycle OK.

I'm not getting the smoke from the tail pipe I'd normally get when I turn it over. Could this mean injector pump?

It was the first attemped start this morning after sitting all night. Ran fine last night.

Any help is appreciated.

TNX in advance.

It definitely sounds like a fuel delivery problem. I'd start by cracking an injector line and seeing if you get any fuel out of it. It could also be a clogged fuel filter. Generally when injection pump fails it leaks out of the throttle shaft. I don't think I've ever heard of a pump failing out of the blue like that.....

If I'm looking under the hood, where is the injector pump/pink wire located?

I've got a 91 chev pu with the 6.2

The injection pump is located towards the front of the block in the middle, just in front and below the air cleaner housing. The pink wire connects to the pump on the top passenger side of the pump.......

I had the same problem in my driveway. Turned out to be the ground strap at the rear of the engine. Sure did run better with a filter and other new stuff bought out of desperation.
