Anyone line-x the inside of their burb? I ripped out the carpet on mine and am now trying to find the most durable option for the floor. Decided to go with line-x, but kinda curious how the sound is going to be.

Also what's good for the roof (inside) for sound and heat? I have read a couple post's in the search, but so far haven't seen any conclusions.

I've never ridden in a truck with line-x'd floors that actually had doors on it. Sorry I can't help.

I used Herculiner on the roof and rear quarter panels. Applies really easily and seems like a great product. So far it has been doing really well. Its about $90 for a kit. One gallon would easily do two coats on the interior of your blazer.

I just recently acquired a 2wd burb, it has full capreting in the front half of the truck, but the rear cargo area was removed for some reason. That area alone lets a TON of road noise just echo through the truck, it amazed me as to how much more noise is in these things with just that one piece of carpeting missing.

hope you don't have a stereo in it, not gonna be able to hear it.

Maybe I'm just getting too old or something, I like things quieter now.

Well I have taken the carpet out and driven it, so I know it's loud. Nearly all the noise is resonating metal, which the line-x will cure. What i'm wondering is has anyone done this yet and what opinions they have of it. I don't want carpet inside because I feel it will get destroyed by the kids within a few years. Whereas line-x will wash off.

buddy of mine did that to his burb. he uses it for work and the carpet got destroyed from tools over the years...
anyway, he had his whole back half lineX'd on the inside and drives it every day. said it was better than when it was carpet since the stock carpet was so crapped out anyway.

ymmv

Well this won't be my daily driver either, so i'm not super concerned if there is a little more noise. I can always throw down a rubber mat on top of it all. Was just looking to see if anyone had any serious issue's after doing it.
