I want to try to clean up some surface rust on the frame and underbody of my jimmy, but don't have the resources to lift the body completely off the frame. Any suggestions on how I can get this done? I want to be able to get the entire frame. I don't want to half a$$ it. I've installed a body lift before and was thinking of a similar method.

Tight space- pry a chemical. I know Eastwood Co has a product called Rust Remover. When I get going on replacing my body mounts I plan on hitting those areas with Rust Bullet.

yeah i was planning on POR 15. Seems like as long as you do the prep and use their metal etching and cleaning products it works great. I just need enough space to get a hand in there to do some sanding.

Going with Rust Bullet as everything I've read indicates it's an easier product to use. Gonna be working on the insides of my air box soon, and plan on hitting the insides of any braces I replace through out the vehicle.

I see myself getting creative with paint sticks, coat hangars, etc. Was thinking along the lines of cleaning a rifle bore, so gonna try some type of dauber for the head, or small foam brushes taped to wire, etc.
