Summit racing heater unit

I have this heater in my rig and it rocks. Both for heating and defrosting purposes. I've been comfortable snow wheeling with half doors. :)

has the wiring harness, the mounting tabs and im not sure if i still have the instructions, but i can draw up a schematic easy enough, its just giving power to the switch and ground the box and the switch and wiring harness does the rest.

hey i'm interested ! talk to me about mounting... does it still seal up the factory AC / heating holes or what?

I just installed the exact same heater in my k5. I had one before in another k5. It works awesome! Here's pics of the heater installed on my build thread. Just you'll need to cover where the factory a/c box and blower motor. Wireing is simple and straight fwd. Aslong as you get the switch. The instructions can be downloaded off summit I believe

it does not. There is a rectangular hole, maybe 8"x6" and then like a 5" round hole, that i had plates welded over. There are also two holes where the heater hoses enter the cab, but where i placed the heater, i used them over.

As for mounting, it comes with a metal bracket on the top and bottom that are adjustable and they can attach to to the firewall by 4 screws, 5/16" i believe.
