Summit Turbo Muffles

Hard to beat the price .....But I'd buy flowmasters /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

I would rather have them too but it's a matter of being able to drive the truck vs waiting to free up an additional $150 which should be goung towards my lift

I know how that goes ....Looks like a good deal I'd get them

They are the same as the turbos you can buy at most muffler shops for about the same price. I had them on my old blazer and thats probably what Ill run when i get the new exhaust on my truck. They are cheap, not real loud and have a good sound.

I put the WELDED summit turbos on my black k5....
I like the way they sound.
My neighbor just bought the summit mufflers you are looking at...
They seem to be louder than a generic turbos.
He's happy with his!!! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I looked at the welded ones too but didn't really see a huge difference between the two...plus I'll save $40 /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
This could all come back to haunt me but I'll spend my $40 and see what happens

I just bought the welded ones...
because they are made from a heavier guage steel...
I don't have much luck...
with mufflers lasting here in Ohio...
in the humid-air. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

Give'm a shot!!! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

My experience with cheap, crimped-together, turbo muffs is that they're good for 18-24 months in areas where the roads get salted in the winter. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif There's a reason they only cost $20 each. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

18-24 months is perfect. By that time I should have shaved for a good exhaust system /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

They are a very good muffler for the price.
I run them on my daily driver 71 Elky with a 325HP 350.
I really like the way they sound, had them on for 2 years now and they have seen lots of 6500RPM runs thru them without them blowing out.
They still sound good, Im going to put them on the Blazer when I clean things up.
For the $$$, they're hard to beat
