Who is running a sun-roof on their Blazer? I would love to see some pictures. I'm looking for more airflow in my cab and am wondering if this would help. Who has had them installed since they owned their rig? What model and how much? I'm worried about leaking, quality, looks, size, etc. Thanks in advance.

I know mddybuddy has one on his K5. PM him and he should be able to tel you all about it. Not sure if he had it don'e or if it was already there.

I've had one on mine since I purchased it back in 1990. The previous owners installed it. I've never had it leak. As for air flow, it doesn't seam to help that much. One thing I have noticed, is my roof doesn't pop like other K5's.

Most of us have problems with the roof buckling under flex (even mild flex) which is going to be hard on something rigid like a sunroof, whether it be the hinges, glass, sealing surface, etc. Besides the requisite leaks as the seals fail. New aftermarket stuff might be a bit different, but after pulling a factory sunroof equipped GM vehicle apart, it is apparent GM spent more time and money on the design than the aftermarket does.

It REALLY seems like a poor idea to put a sunroof in a truck that has a mostly removeable top.

If you were really concerned, you'd do a full top conversion. :)

I like my sunroof
