Just putting some feelers out there, not in need or a bind to sell, just thinking of getting a K5 that's not so "clean" and "straight" to use as my camping fishing vehicle... I'm not an extreme off-roader but we do go in some moderately rough places and this one is to nice to dent and scratch up in my opinion...The engine and transmission are 6 years old, both replaced at the same time by a local Chevy dealer, they are a Mr. Goodwrench crate 350, and TH350 trans, they have 49,000 Miles and run and shift perfectly...I drive this truck daily and keep it well maintained... It has new radiator, starter, alternator, A/C has been converted to R134 with all new parts (condenser, dryer, evaporator and hoses) and blows cold, new rear drive shaft U joints, new 31 gal fuel tank and sending unit (original 31 year old tank developed a crack), alternator, plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor, all fluids and filters changed... it Has factory 12 bolt rear-end with factory locking diff, factory engine oil and trans fluid coolers, fold n tumble rear seat, Rare Factory Rear Rollbar, power windows, door locks, power rear window, tilt, cruise, factory intermittent wipers, its loaded... The paint job is about 10 years old and faded a little on the hood and top of the roof, the seats, carpet and interior in general are in great shape... The body is solid with no rust, the rockers, doors, quarter panels, wheel wells everything is solid not even surface bubbles... It has brand new Yokohama 32x11.50 AT's... I am asking $10,500, NADA is $7880 for average and $12,450 for excellent... This truck is waaaay above average but is not excellent either... The only issues that I know of are the fuel gauge works but not fully (it does not go all the way to the full mark when full but registers empty just fine), the power rear window works but only from the dash switch the rear key switch is inoperable, the cruise does not work but is all there, and if you dont drive the truck for a few days it drips about 10 drips of ATF (I think its the O-ring on the dipstick), other than that its excellent... Here are a few pics for those that have not seen it on the 73-91 K5 forum... Truck is located 25mi East of Atlanta GA...
