super clean ebay k5, super price, too!

I have been trying to get ALL the parts to make a NEW zero miles K5 and can tell you the price is high.

Not to mention I found out today if you build a NOS vehicle in Ohio it has to meet NTSB standards for the year it is made ie: 2009 so that frecks that ideal. Just more goberment in a persons life :doah:

Total sticker for my 1987 was $15,181.00

how can they make you do that? they know it won't meet 2009 standards, i mean it was built 22 years ago.. thats bs. im used to dealing with the rarity of mopar parts and the high prices that everyone wants for mopar parts. i figured chevy parts would be a little cheaper cause they are more prevalent.

Here it is titled and taged as the year or make it represents

there is a guy I know that build and sells classic fiberglass body corvettes on c5 chassis for 160k... tags just a mere 19.00:D for a actual c5 it would be about 900.00

I said build a NOS new old stock Blazer. New Axles Frame all new parts never on the road. It would be like making an experimental car. Sux but they said it would all have to meet the current standards for a production vehicle. Now if you just restore a previously registered vehicle it don't. The key is you are making a new never titled vehicle as explained to me.

ah, well for the hassle i would think you could reuse a clean firewall and windshield frame. Or if you committed t the idea, send it to a state that will allow you to do it like arizona does

I would just love to build it and leave it as my legacy. The only 2010 Chevy Blazer made a one of a kind. I am stalking NOS parts as we post.

do you ha e a thread started? if people knew about your idea they could tell you when parts popped up

That is where the law comes into it. Because it has never been titled you have get it inspected and it has to meet the NTSB standards. They will then issues you a state v.i.n tag to be attached to it.
