super duty shocks on 6in of lift

ok, so weve discussed in depth using super duty shocks on a 4in lift. primarily those doing 52in springs up front with a flip out back.

these shocks should also work with a 6in lift correct? just taking 2in of droop and turning it into 2in of compression as far as the shock is concerned, or is my brain all twisted up about this?

Your brain is twisted up, but logic on the shocks is sound.

I'll probably find out eventually.. I'm going to redo my suspension with 6" front springs and a shackle flip with a 1 ton spring pack, longer shackle, and maybe a zero rate or a couple extra overloads.
