surprisingly my full HF kit has held up very well... albeit, disposable when the time comes..
we LIVE by that stuff in the marine biz.. only way your gonna do an engine alignment on a big ole pair of shimmed Detroits, Mann's, etc... the spreader fork is invaluable....
ain't jockeying that sh*t around with a 48" prybar like I do with the gas motors.. we also use em religiously for pressing shafts out of couplings, etc...
I wanted it for the wedge and small stroke lift pistons . also the name brand
the short stroke lift pistons help in getting drw rims off the newer trucks as the tight fitment of them on the axle hubs and rust in the north east makes them set up bad. then truck owners don't rotate drw hardly at all.
I have seen 4 rims trashed from 10-12lb hammers trying to get them off.
if you use the lift pistons and small blocks of wood cut in to wedges and walk them apart outer against inner then inner against leaf spring or frame it works so much better . seen it done a few times .
Nice! We have the same thing at work and I've never seen it taken out if the box but that's the airforce buy expensive stuff to use it twice but don't fix the water jet that gets used daily
