Superchips On Newer Rigs...

Hey guys, i was wondering if any of you have tried superchips on your newer rigs, tow rigs, etc. My buddy has the superchip programer for his charger, and said it made a big difference.
Id like to hear your oppinions on it, i have an 2002 silverado 1500 with the 5.3L

Most of the difference they make is in the shift points, line pressure, and shift firmness on automatic transmissions.

The power gains are pretty minimal and even then they often require premium fuel.

I had a 2000 Chevy Silverado with a chip (4.8, automatic, 373's) and I thought it noticeably improved the power...didn't have to use premium with mine.

take the money you would waste on a SCT and buy a real tune from a professional. http://www.blackbearperformance.com/ would be my suggestion.
