Superlift or Custom Springs?

I like them pretty good they wear like iron I got mine used still have alot of tread (over half) but the sun done hear has dry rotted them pretty bad I put tubes in them so they would be a little safer as far as blow outs My buddy has a set of 44" tsl's on alcoa rims for $1000 bucks I gave him $500 already and I'm waiting on my tax refund for the rest the tsl's have like 600-700 miles on them and have never seen dirt (Show truck no front drive line ) as soon as they wear out I'll buy another set of Ground Hawgs One bad thing I will say about them is that don't pull very well in reverse so what I did is reverse the direction of two of the tires (opposite corners ) and that helped alot What tires are you running??? /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

That sux's my 8" has sagged 1/2" since I put it on about 2 yrs ago I'm pretty sure your truck is heavier than mine though /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

I have Gumbo Mudders and the wear like iron too I have had the for over a year now and they are only about half wore with daily highway use.

One of my friends just bought a set of springs from National Spring for his CJ-7 and is VERY disappointed in them. He ordered them for 2" more lift than he had and they came with 4.5" more lift (even after breaking them in), they ride bad and have less flex than his "off-the-shelf" lift springs that were on it. He paid around $1,300 for them.

They also sent him the wrong u-bolts and stuff the first time around. They said they would "fix" the current springs but he would have to put his Jeep up on blocks for several weeks while this would happen and is very hesitant that they can "fix" the springs.

Was that $1,300 /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif just for springs and u-bolts? or did that include shock? If that was just for springs I am just going to buy the superlifts I had a place that quoted me $550.00 /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif for the superlift springs.

Try National Tire and Wheel they have pretty good deals on superlift suspension stuff /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

Will do! I just talked to a place in Canada that said they would make me some springs for $700.00 + shipping. If National Tire and Wheel has good prices on the springs I will probely just order from them. Thanks for all the Great Info. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif
