Superlift Shocks scratch & dent

I don't know why you guys risk it... I had a completely new rear d-shaft made w/ 1350 ears at both ends for my truck (which has 8" of lift) and it was less than $100 at the local d-shaft shop...

Just get a new shaft.

place in town wants to charge me 120 for a shorten and balance.:eek1:

a new cv shaft costs starts at $495 front stock is $289

Risk what?? If it fits and has no problems why spend the money? Most OE shafts are built with the slip assy closed more than we typically need.

I can't answer the rear shaft question, my truck had a 2 pc rear shaft (but it did work fine).

Even still, finding the shocks, and springs on sale that much must be kinda like switching to Geico auto insurance. I already have geico but I can imagine it being similar.

12" front springs, 40 for the springs, and 60 for shipping, I might have to jump on that.

its per spring. so its $80 for a pair and twice as much for shipping. plus they only have one 12" spring available.

I have them saved as a favorite seller. I have gotten shocks from them. buy 4 and the shipping gets cheaper. they ship them in the same size box as 1, 2, or 3.

I looked at this rear spring.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Supe...emQQcategoryZ33585QQihZ007QQitemZ170162284575. $35 and $70 each for shipping. Sure the total for 2 rear springs is only $210, but I dont thing $140 is reasonable freight on 2 springs either.

Are you sure you guys are figuring freight correctly? I randomly picked Chevy 6" front springs (selling price = $32 each) weighing 51 lbs ea and got a UPS quote of $26.73 to a residential addy in Pensacola. This quote is right in line with it cost me to ship in my springs (roughly $27.00 each).

It's hard for me to believe that $60 freight is unreasonable for $64 worth of brand new lift springs? $124 SHIPPED is pretty good considering they probably sell for about $200 + freight.

I thing they want you to go figure out the cost of shipping yourself. Thats the amount that I paypaled them. I'll let you know what they say about the shipping.

If I went by the above post those 4" springs would be $140 shipped to my house. The only problem there is they don't have a quanity so they only have one spring for sale?
