I'm wondering if anyone has used superlift stuff. Does it hold up? How do they ride, etc. I'm looking at a set on summit. But figured I'd confer with the brotherhood first. There cheap enough. But thats kind why I'm asking.:dunno:

I have a set of the 4 inch springs on an 85 chevy and Ill say that there are much better options out there for not much more money.

They are stiff, they take odd sized bushings that are not included by the way and Ive heard that they sag quickly although I havent noticed any sagging after a year of easy use. They are cheap, I paid like $200 for the springs alone but after another $50 for bushings you can almost buy a better quality set of springs.

Check prices on tuff country springs and do a search here to see some reviews and I think you might change your mind.

I just got the 6in SkyJacker soft ride springs installed... they are anything but "soft"

I also have superlift and was not impressed. Mainly the customer service when trey kept messing up my order. I should have gotten the hint then and canceled it.

I had the superlift 2.5 " springs. Almost no flex, stiff as hell, rode like crap.

if you want smother ride and cheeper price and level the rear saggy butt on blazer/burban get this .

ord 4" flip kit http://www.offroaddesign.com/catalog/shacklekit.htm

diy4x flip kit http://diy4x.com/cart/index.php?route=product/product&path=24&product_id=125

the extra inch = level out of the rear.

then for better riding shocks read this http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=255835&highlight=super+duty

also what size tires and plans for this vehicle ?
The tires will be 33x12.5x15 on 10in w/4"bs rims. The truck is my "Burnt burb resurection". I started a new thread for the spring question so as to not hijack my own thread:rolleyes:. As for the flip kit, I kind of want the new springs, and I dont really want to take my tank out. I guess I'm just being lazy:whistle:. I am definately getting the zero rates for the back also.

...but you don't hardly need to trim fenders. :haha:

I have 4" Superlifts up front. The Mack garbage truck I drove today has more supple front suspension and rides nicer...

I got mine really cheap, otherwise I would have gone with the Tuff Country as well.

A lot of guys like the F-super duty shock tower, it's pretty easy and pretty cheap. I went another way...

I've been running a short BDS lift for over 4 years now and I am very happy with the suspension's performance on and off the road and i think its better that superlift...
