I was reading the "steering shaft how to.... write up!" you posted in the Tech Articles forum. All the links in the first post are dead now. When the site was upgraded it killed all of the old links. Do you have a current link to the post you refer to that has the year info? I am really beginning to hate my steering. Thanks.

OK, does any one know if there is any difference in the steering shafts on the Cherokees?

Column Shift, w/tilt wheel
Column Shift, w/o tilt wheel
Floor Shift, w/tilt wheel
Floor Shift, w/o tilt wheel

early 80s?

hey I will relink and post the pics for ya. I will be doing this again anyways so I can offer a detailed write up with year specific info,

what I do remember is that you want a 79 and up colum iirc,
I do not beleave it matters if it is a tilt or non tilt, but I have both colums and I can look and see if there is a differece,
