Not so much tech but could assist you in your tech issues/wants/needs. I have been using these guys more and more. Only about 15 minutes from my home though. They have a very impressive 900 page truck cat with full color pics too. At the minimum I'd get a cat sent to you home as it is great reading material. Very impressed service and parts so far. Check them out.

I ordered a radiator core support from them and the thing appeared good out of the box but in about 6 months the thing cracked to pieces. My radiator was only being held on by the hoses by the time i got rid of it. Just cheap thin sheet metal couldnt hold up to driving around town.

I've used them for a bunch of F-body parts. They carry a lot of OER parts, or even GM metal for those cars. Same goes for the interior bits. I've never been unsatisfied with them. I've never really considered them for truck parts though. My trucks aren't exactly....show quality.

Ya and the customer service is just plain rediculous i only go there when i have too. Try the truck shop in orange hoby.

I used classic here and there when I was putting my camaro together in the early 90's. I viewed them like a year one.. very pricey, and a last resort.

I liked national parts depot and D & R classic automotive better. Since D & R supplied the year ones, it was cheaper to use them and avoid the markup.

As for truck parts, I was lucky to have a shop near my house that sold ( or could order ) everything that one could find in the LMC catalog. The shop folded up recently, so knowing there's another catalog source is helpful.

Well, I'm glad I had good luck with CI at least. I have used The Truck Shop too quite a bit. They are very good too but if you get there at the wrong time your wait could be an hour or more.
