ha ha a little rocker box humor. I started cutting out my floors today and my rockers and my rocker boxes are trashed. I have a set of outer rockers from LMC im going to use 14 gauge sheet metal for the floorboards. While im cuttin and tearin this sob apart what should I do to replace my rocker boxes THEY ARE SMOKED. Would a set of bolt on sliders the kind that go under your rocker panel give sufficent support or what ideas do you have. Im trying to make my blazer capable but not hideous mostly mud no rocks in Michigan.
This is for a 1975 Convertable Blazer. Id like to get a hold of the engineer that thought that these rocker boxes were such a grand idea. Should of made somthing better first. Ill post pics as soon as I can but please give me some ideas.

I welded a 3x3" 1/4" thick tube in place of my rockers.
