Supporting the Core Support?

This may be a silly question, but if I remove both fenders do I need to attach something to the core support to hold it up, or will it be fine? I know it is bolted to the frame, but I'm sure the fenders were giving it shear support too, right? Thanks for any help.

It'll be fine without the fenders there...it's pretty sturdy on it's own and sitting on top of the frame rails. What are you doing to the truck?

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm doing a restoration of the truck and have been slowly taking it apart.

That would be fine in the garage or driveway but don't plan on driving it that way.
