Surface rust removal?

Back when i did my 1 ton swap, i purchased DIY spring purchases and plates, new ubolts, moved the front spring shackle, and my rims are rusting through the paint.

Everything but the rims are unpainted and the guy that was working on my truck left the truck outside instead of in a shop...Leading to lots of surface rust.

Is there anything i can put on these, or dip the parts in to remove the rust?
Also, What can i do to the rims, since they are mounted to 38's making them alil hard to sandblast.

I'd hit 'em with a polishing media in the sand blaster. Should do the trick. A medium steel wool works well too. Then paint them!
