Hey, I was wondering what brands of off-road seats are suspension seats. I know beard has suspension seats, and I am pretty sure corbeau is just like foam or something. What else is there? I might get this seat:

Specs:

The EBS (Element Barrier System) Series
Ultra-EBS
The new Element Barrier System is designed to give your seat the ultimate in protection against rain, sand, dirt, and more.

First we start with commercial grade neoprene with a 100% nylon
top layer. This is similar to a quality wetsuit. But it doesn’t stop there.
The inside seams are heat sealed to keep moisture or sand from penetrating through the stitching. After that, we install our new Belt Sealers, which completely seal the harness slots in the cover. This creates the most advanced seat on the market.

If you are looking for a weather resistant seat or trying to keep sand build up to a minimum, the Element Barrier System is right for you.

I like the weather resistant part-keeps mud away. So thats a plus. I also like how high the sides are to keep you in. But the only thing is, it looks like it leans back abit to far. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Anyone have any ideas on seats?

don't know but I'd like to know, I've considered throwing at least a driver side suspension seat in /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Aren't the PRP seats in the product review section suspension seats?

I like this mastercraft one:
3G race seat

Lots of padding to keep me inside, suspension seat. BUT it's not weather resistent. And from what I know, companies don't make seat covers for this kind of seat /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
A little pricey though... 546.00 american /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif

Yeah /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
I am liking the beard seat, but I don't know the price on it /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

I am with him, for that kinda money I can get 2 PRP seats with all the mounting hardware and have it shipped to my house.

There are a few companies who make good suspension seats.

Mastercraft, Racecraft, Renegade, Corbeau (BAJA series), PRP, REDART (Beard).

From what i have read and been able to find out all these companies make pretty good seats but if you are on a budget i'd go for the Corbeau BAJA or BAJA SS if your a Bigger fella. But the most established of these companies is Mastercraft but as you can tell they are mighty proud of their stuff (i.e.$$$$$$) everybody i've talked to and from all the reviews i've been able to find PRP is the clear leader when you factor in price quality and customer service.

I'm not very big.. 150LBS, 5' 10" /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Are the baja (corbeau) seats suspension?
I like mastercraft seats, but damn, it's like they are made out of gold /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif
I looked at renegade and racecraft, and I didn't see anything I was very interested in /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
I'm between PRP, beard, and mastercraft /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

yes and i believe that at the base model they run 159$ a piece and most the time you can find some site running a free S&H deal.

If it were me i'd go PRP but if weather resistance is a major factor for you that beard seat you pictured looks like what you'd want. you could alway homemake a cover for the PRP seats and save a few bones.

Yeah mastercraft is proud of their stuff but i hear their seats are awesome but they better be able to make me dinner for what they charge.

I have beards in mine. Had them for a year and a half. They are a little faded but no rips or tears yet. It is also my DD so they are used a lot. Ran me around 200 ea and easily made up for the stiff suspension I used to have. Now I can do full *oops* jumps in comfort. There are a good half a dozen companies making them currently I just went with beard for price and availability (read locally).

I will check out the baja seats from corbeau in a minute since they are suspension.
Yeah weather is a key thing with me, so I need something weather resistant. I could always make a cover... but I don't no how /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif Some of beards seats come with a seat cover for 50 dollars more. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
