Corbeau Ultra SS or Beard Enduro GT?

Hey everyone, I’m stuck what to buy. Heres the details…

I own a 1981 f\s GMC Jimmy, with 4" susp lift, and 38" super swampers usually aired down to 10 psi. In the next 6 months I will buy a trailer to carry my Jimmy to rough trails. I need 2 suspension seats for front, and rear suspension seat for kids. The manufactures web sites have so many seats for your body size and the type of wheelin’ you do. Here is what I faxed to corbeau:

I am 5'10" tall, 235 lbs, I wear a 38" waist in jeans and a 44" waist carhart coverall. I wear an XL in shirts. I don't mind the ordeal to climb into my 4x4 since I only ride in it on weekends and maybe once a month. I am way, way, more concerned with comfort in riding in my seat, but still want to be able to look over the dash like in the stock seat. I need a seat that will absorb those hard bumps and jarring from side to side as my truck articulates and sways through holes and over rocks\logs. I don't drive fast but prefer slow and steady, but faster is fun too, such as pulling roosters through mud holes.

My 1st choice is the Corbeau Baja XP, 2nd the Corbeau Ultra SS, and 3rd the Corbeau Baja RS. I need my head, neck well supported too. Its nice when you can support the back of your head without tilting your head back. Or are the seats designed to accommodate the room for a helmet?

I would need brackets for the front at least or is it easy for me to adapt to the stock brackets? I do metalwork and mechanics for a living. I have a 5 point harness too. Would I need to make "spacers" to raise up seat to still look over dash??

What seat would you recommend? And easy to keep clean? Can you get the BAJA XP all in leather? Seat covers for muddy days? I'd rather spend $$ on seats then a chiropractor. lol.

Corbeau phoned me back and replied that the Ultra SS would be best for me.

I contacted www.redart.com and they told me the Beard “Enduro” seat would be best for my truck since it is lifted and easier to get in and out of. I did not tell redart that I don’t care about how hard it is to get in and out of.

So…. Have any of you bought suspension seats for your full-size Blazer or Jimmy? Redart can sell me their Enduro GT model for $380 but the ultra SS is $253 at Corbeau. What do you use for seats? What would you recommend??

I like the redart ones I got. I got the street seats xtra wide xtra tall w/ xtra big headrests. Im of similar build but a bit taller at 6'3". There regular version were just uncomfortable for me so I got the biggest ones and am glad I did. Never tried any others but alot of people like the PRP seats I hear. The beards are real nice but a bit exspensive and Im not sure if its any different from the others.
