I did a search on IFS suspensions and about all of them say they suck. My question is why? What are the disadvantages and advantages(If any)? I am asking from the standpoint of just getting through the mud, towing, and a daily driver standpoint. The only rocks I see are gravel and white flint rocks that I could pick-up by hand or on rare occasion roll out of my way if I had too.

They are weak and don't flex very well, and can be big $$$ to lift. For your anticipated use, an IFS truck would work ok. I have a '96 IFS that I also have a lift and 36" Iroks for, I just need to get off my a$$ and put it on. My friend has a '96 also and beat the snot out of with 33's and never had any problems. This was his daily driver/weekend mud truck, never any rocks.
