Suspension??

I was going to go with a 4 inch deaver leaf spring lift on my 1990 K5, good idea or no?? Also any recommends on the shock i should run? I was looking at Billstein with a reservoir...

Consensus around here seems to be Alcan springs, designed by ORD. I have a set but don't really have a point of comparison, certainly not Deaver. If you go the custom route, be prepared to be very specific about the ride height you want and how heavy your rig is. I just said "4 inches" and got closer to 6. The soft springs are more sensitive to weight with regard to final ride height too.
