So I tried getting the local Discount Tire to order me some TSL Bias PLY 36x12.5x15,

They said that interco is back ordered and predicting 12 weeks until the are availible.... Now what should I do?

I am thinking time to try Rockers in a 37"...

Anyone know the cheapest place to order them?

How about some PITBULLS? I know a local guy that has the market cornered on them.

Pauly383 had a similar problem a few years back with a tire he needed replaced, they were backordered, excuse was that the tire companies make certain sizes throughout the year at certain times of the year, if that size runs out, it's backordered till they get around to making more of them. With the larger quantity of sizes available now, it's taking longer to get to making say 15" sized tires or 16's, whatever.

Haven't had much trouble yet with finding the 17's I'm running, you guys keep running those sizes that are being phased out slowely.. :D

just messin BTW... :waytogo:

The problem with Interco is that Denman, the company that actually manufactured the tires, went bankrupt. They have had to find a new builder / move molds / begin production / provide tires to DOT for testing / get approved / then they can sell to the public. I believe I read on Pirate they are in the DOT testing phase. It will be a while before the complete line is avaiable again.

That said, Interco's blem page has some stuff posted for sale.

Well I have thought about it, but do have brand loyalty to swampers. I might have to make the switch out of necessity and not by choice....

If you do much in mud, I have read that the pitbulls aren't very good. If your only doing rocks and trails that is where they are supposed to excel.
